Steve Sarras’s Kinda Dont Care and Kiowa Urban recorded impressive first round victories in the inaugural New Sensations Puppy Classic held Saturday at the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track. In race 6, Kinda Dont Care bested Flying Sloan (also consigned to the NGA Fall auction) by a half-length, and remained undefeated at the Naples track. The winning time was 30.24. The two will meet again on Wednesday in round two of the New Sensations.

Kiowa Urban rallied from far back to overtake BGR A Pujols in the late stretch. His winning time was 30.21. Urban drew the seven hole in race 8 on Wednesday, and will most likely face his stiffest challenge from Ds Spice who will be on the rail.

Other NGA auction pups that hit the board in round one were Kelsos Olive (2nd), Go Bon Jan (3rd), Pj Lots Of Dots (3rd), Craigie Kansas (4th), Pj Where You At (4th) and Se’s Time Cell (4th). A unique feature of this stakes is that owners can enter their pup with a claiming price. In round two, first round winner Mallomar is entered with a $15,000 claiming price.
