The $20,000 Remembrance Stakes reduces its field in half tonight with four second-round qualifying races at Derby Lane.

Sixteen of the 32 greyhounds will be eliminated as the track’s final 550-yards stake race of the season resumes.

ABC Racing kennel’s Shipley (Race 4, 8:10 p.m.), D’Arcy kennel’s Over Zealous (Race 6, 8:39), Capabal kennel’s Rum And Coke (8, 9:13) and Farmer Racing kennel’s Mr Juniper Creek (10, 9:47) drew the No. 1 boxes.

Over Zealous was one of four first-round winners and ranks tied for first in points at 16 with kennelmate My Mate Tom-iu (Race 4), and the Cal Holland duo of Jiminy Reno (8) and Kentucky Leo (10).

Jiminy Reno has won his past five races.

Eight greyhounds with the most accumulative points advance to the May 28 championship race.
