RT’s Bo Jangles, a 2017 All-America first-team selection and the nation’s defending win champion, scored his 80th lifetime victory for Cal Holland kennel Thursday in Race 10 at Derby Lane.

Breaking from the No. 5 box, the 40-month-old son of Kiowa Mon Manny and Penrose Karrie sped to an early lead and finished ahead of Flying Amity of Everett Racing kennel of 30.17 seconds on the 550-yard course, the second fastest time of the meet. He paid $2.60 to win as the 1-5 wagering favorite.

Owned by Randy Toler of Penrose, Colo., RT’s Bo Jangles collected the milestone win in his 133rd start for Holland, his trainer. The two-time stakes winner has earned more than $63,000 in a career that started Sept. 12, 2016.
