ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Fresh off his second career stakes victory in last weekend’s $64,000 Sprint Classic at Derby Lane, Lashmet kennel’s LK’s Crush N It goes for his 11th consecutive victory tonight (Friday) in the featured Race 10 at 9:47 p.m.

LK’s Crush N It drew box 8 and is the 5-2 morning-line favorite. He faces seven opponents in the Grade A 550-yard race.

The 27-month-old male from a litter by LK’s Now R Never and LK’s All In has not lost since a 3-1/2-length second-place finish to Nova kennel’s Hi Noon Pursuit on Jan. 17. He has won 18 of his past 19 starts since Dec. 8.

LK’s Crush N It has won 27 of 36 lifetime races under kennel manager and trainer Ken Deacon. The 75-pound athlete was bred and raised by kennel owners John and Jill Lashmet of Eaton, Colo.
