The first of six schooling programs, a prelude to the NGA Spring Meet (Apr. 25-30), begins at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Apr. 17 at the NGA Track in Abilene.

Nominators will continue to acclimate their pups to the NGA Track for the five days following Sunday’s program, with schooling wrapping up on Friday, Apr. 22. Each morning’s schooling program will also begin at 8:30 a.m.

Sunday’s schooling program will feature 109 races (four more than last spring), while Monday will offer 78 races (three less than last spring). Results of schooling races will be posted daily on this website.

The NGA Spring Meet itself will kick off at 9 a.m. Monday, Apr. 25, with the first round races for the younger pups: February, January and December stakes. Tuesday’s races, also beginning at 9 a.m., will feature the older age groups: November, October and August/September.

The first social activity of the Spring Meet will be the Greyhound Hall Of Fame Benefit Auction/Dinner on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Consignments are listed elsewhere on this website—as is the complete schedule of Spring Meet events.
