Lester Raines Kennel’s B Flying Blake has eight straight Grade TAA 3/16 victories for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mate Kiowa Myth Watch has won three out of his last four starts (A, AA).

Valor Racing Kennel’s HS Ruby has two wins and two seconds in her last four Grade AA races for trainer James Roche. Kennel-mate Kiowa Cue Ball has back-to-back Grade AA victories.


Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s Eyes Focused has two straight Grade AA wins for trainer Joe Otto.


Wayne Ward Kennel’s WW’s Dot N Cross has captured three out of her last four 3/8 trips (C, B, TAA) for trainer Ron Otto.


Steve Sarras Kennel’s Beethoven Betsy has three victories and two seconds in her last five starts (D, C, B) for trainer Scott Purdy.


Clear The Way Kennel’s Cry Firestar has back-to-back wins (B, A) for trainer Patrick Bever.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately.
