Steve Sarras Kennel’s BS Tite Wad has four straight victories (A, AA) for trainer Barbara Long. Kennel-mates Polish Copper has three wins in a row (C, B, A) while WP’s Jaguar has back-to-back victories (B, A).

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s Wayne Cleary (A, AA) and Story Of My Life (M, D, C) have captured three out of their last four starts for trainer Louise Strong. Kennel-mates GLS Lover Boy (TAA 3/8) and Free Ride (B, A) have back-to-back wins.

Valor Racing Kennel’s Flying Turbo has two straight 3/8 victories (A, TAA) for trainer James Roche.

Abrahamson Kennel’s Hel’s M Eighty has back-to-back wins (A, AA) for trainer Tom Engle.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
