Lester Raines Kennel’s Barts Outofmyway has three wins and a second in his last four Grade AA races for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mate Deja Vue has two victories and a second in her last three Grade TAA 3/16 starts while another Raines runner, Kiowa Never Fail has back-to-back wins.

Brad Boeckenstedt Kennel’s Boc’s Betty Jo has three victories and a second in her last four Grade AA trips for trainer Chris Brill.

Steve Sarras Kennel’s Beethoven Betsy has three wins and a second in her last four outings (A, AA) for trainer Barbara Long. Kennel-mate Leo The Lover has back-to-back Grade AA victories.

A Ray Kennel’s PJ Takeyourtime has two straight Grade AA wins for trainer Joe Palmer.

Steubenville Kennel’s Superior Chance has two victories in a row (A, AA) for trainer Michael Piquette.

Wayne Ward Kennel’s WW’s Ol Stout has two wins and a second in his last three races (B, A) for trainer Ron Otto.

Valor Racing Kennel’s Night Ramcharger has two victories and a second in his last three starts (B, A) for trainer James Roche.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.
