Lester Raines Kennel’s Dodgem’s Magic has won three out of her last four Grade AA trips for trainer Joel Roden.

A Ray Kennel’s AMF Ex Quigley has captured three out of his last four races (A, AA) for trainer Joe Palmer. Kennel-mates Napa Know How has three wins and a second in his last five races (B, A, AA) while AMF Pretty Puma has back-to-back victories (A, AA).

Abrahamson Kennel’s Backwood Trouble has two straight TAA 3/16 wins for trainer Tom Engle.

Steve Sarras Kennel’s JJ’s Raffle Girl has two victories and two seconds in her last out starts (A, AA) for trainer Barbara Long.

Wayne Ward Kennel’s WW Starbucks has four straight wins (M, D, C, B) for trainer Ron Otto.

Rico Racing Kennel’s Djays Macho Man has won three out of his last four races (D, C, B) for trainer Melinda McCardle.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
