Abrahamson Kennel’s CTW San Marcos has four straight victories (A, AA) for trainer Tom Engle. Kennel-mates Oriole Of Ruckus has three wins in a row (C, B, A) while Hashtag Dangrite has back-to-back victories (A, AA).

Blanchard Kennel’s Perry Of Ruckus has three wins and four seconds in his last seven Grade AA trips for trainer James E. Blanchard.

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s JSK Lubbock has two victories and two seconds in his last four Grade AA races for trainer Louise Strong. Kennel-mate Shootinthestars has two wins in a row (B, A).

Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s Old Chivalry has captured three out of his last four 3/8 starts (B, TA, TAA) for trainer Joe Otto.

A Ray Kennel’s AMF Sandman has back-to-back victories (A, AA) for trainer Joe Palmer.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.
