$65,000 WV Bred Open Distance Stake at Tristate

The lineup for the final round of the 2024 $65,000 Open Sprint Stakes at Tri-State has been announced. Four outstanding female greyhounds, each with an impressive 40 points, lead the pack after four rounds.

 

Gls Finleysfilly, a thirty-two-month-old sired by Sh Avatar out of Supra C Alexa, secured two wins and placed second and third in the previous rounds, showing consistent performance. She is represented by JS Kennels, trained by Garrett Gruden, and owned by Greg or Louise Strong.

 

Cetmark Zippy, forty-four months old from Superior Panama - Zippen Zidel, scored a win, a third, a win, and a second in the rounds. She is represented by CET Kennels under trainer Scott Robinette and is owned by Carl E. Tomblin II

 

Cet Dirty Toodles, twenty-eight months old from Sh Avatar - Cet Dirty Nicki, scored second, first, third, and first in the rounds. She is represented by CET Kennels under trainer Scott Robinette and is owned by Carl E. Tomblin II.

 

Cg's Maggi, a twenty-eight-month-old from Cg's October-Jax Freida, achieved a third, a second, and two firsts in the rounds. She is represented by Abrahamson Kennel, trained by Todd Johnson, and owned by Janice C. Abrahamson.

 

Completing the final field of competitors are Coal Powered (RS Racing), 31 points; Cg’s Miss Muffet (Abrahamson Kennel), 30 points; Cet Dirty Skinny (CET Kennels), 27 points; Cet Electrify (CET Kennels), 26 points.

 

The top contenders will race on Friday evening, May 31, for the 14th race.
