Three greyhounds – CET Dirty Skinny, CET Dirty Toodls and JAS Strait Aces – top all qualifiers in the Saturday afternoon, Oct. 21, final of the $65,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Keystone (3/8th) Championship at Wheeling Island.
CET Dirty Skinny (Steve Sarras Kennel) and CET Dirty Toodls (Steve Sarras Kennel) each had a win and two seconds in the three qualifying rounds to accumulate 35 points. JAS Strait Aces (Patriot/Taplin Kennel) had a pair of wins and a fourth in the preliminary races to also notch 35 points.
Completing the final field are Wild Chomp Dude (Xtrem Hess Racing Kennel), 32 points; CET Marlin (Imark Kennel), 30 points; TS Woody (Steve Sarras Kennel), 25 points; Wild Blue Bee (Xtrem Hess Racing Kennel) and CET Zinc (Imark Kennel), 24 points each.
Post positions for the final will be drawn later this week.
Posting semifinal round victories Sunday were CET Dirty Toodls, JAS Strait Aces and Wild Chomp Dude.
