WV Panhandle Sprint Stake kicks off

The Imark and Steve Sarras kennels each posted a pair of victories while Code Red had the other win Friday afternoon in the first round of the $65,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Panhandle Sprint Stakes at Wheeling Island.

            Heading into the Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 13, second round, the five sprinters – CET Littles (Imark), CET Dirty Skinny (Imark), Best Of Times (Steve Sarras), Lord Of The Rings (Steve Sarras) and CG’s Sun Storm (Code Red) have accumulated 15 points to top the leader board.

            The semi-finals are set for Sunday, Nov. 17, and the Panhandle stake final is scheduled for Saturday matinee, Nov. 23.
