WVGOBA Juvenile Stakes begins Friday, Sept. 12

The $35,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Juvenile Stake kicks off Friday afternoon, Sept. 12, at Wheeling Island.

            Six kennels have entered a total of 17 greyhounds – 14 from Wheeling Island and three from Tri-State Greyhound Park.

            The second round will be Wednesday, Sept. 17 and the semi-finals on Sunday, Sept. 21. The juvenile stake final is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27.

            The $65,000 WVGOBA Panhandle Sprint Championship kicks off Friday afternoon, Nov. 7, at Wheeling Island.

            The second round will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, and the semi-final on Sunday, Nov. 16. The Panhandle Sprint final is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22.
