WVGOBA Panhandle Sprint semifinal
set for Sunday, Nov. 16 at Wheeling

Greyhounds from five different kennels posted victories Wednesday afternoon in the second round of the $65,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Panhandle Sprint Championship at Wheeling Island.

            Racing to victory in the second round were CET Vera (Imark), Neptune (Steve Sarras), Wild Money Honey (Xtrem Hess Racing), GLS Top Lady (Jacobs Racing) and WV’s Lindy Point (Wayne Ward). None of the first-round winners repeated.

            Heading into the Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16, semifinals, Arroyo Amanda (Code Red) tops the leaderboard with 25 points. Next in line are Wild Money Honey (Xtrem Hess Racing) with 22 points, followed by GLS Top Lady (Jacobs Racing) and WV’s Windy Point (Wayne Ward) with 20.375 points each.

            The Panhandle Sprint stake final is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22.
